Message from the Chief of Police
In the winter of 2012, the police department leadership team came together to review and update the Hayward Police Department’s strategic plan: “2008 and Beyond.” The original document represents countless hours of research, development and effort on the part of numerous people. Members of our department worked with Hayward community members, businesses, educators and City employees to produce a plan that truly exemplifies the spirit of a cooperative effort.
